Position
A key member of Pixartprinting’s technology team, you will lead project teams that solve people, process and technology problems by gathering and analyzing requirements; understanding existing capabilities; designing functional solutions.
You are responsible for managing the development of new Pixartprinting capabilities that have a software development component.
The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams from conceptualization through implementation, including phases such as requirements definition, technical design, build, test, deploy and capture value.
The ideal candidate will work closely with our Marketing, Finance and/or Manufacturing teams to drive requirements and results for multiple Technology projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage key internal client relationships with project stakeholders
- Drive project requirements, priorities and deadlines, not just record and manage them
- Lead highly skilled cross-functional teams (engineers, IT Operations, business stakeholders) across one or more projects
- Develop and manage budgets for assigned projects, monitor progress and adjust resources and priorities accordingly
- Prepare and present progress reports for management up to the Executive level
- Interact with decision makers by managing expectations and providing master project planning to ensure all deliverables are met cost effectively and according to project timelines
- Solve problems, prioritise deliverables and manage project scope
- Problem Management and Escalation.
- Provides expert problem management support to difficult, high profile client issues and ensures root-cause analysis is conducted and a corrective action plan is followed through with any learning applied for future benefit.
- Estimates relevant problem scope and impact and facilitates appropriate escalation.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience delivering large, complex, cross-functional projects ideally in a software or software integrated manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in leading and managing engineering teams across software, hardware and process disciplines in a global environment
- Very comfortable with Agile software development methodology
- Willingness to resolve repetitive problems while figuring out systematic handling and prevention.
- Proven ability to run cross-functional software development projects and deliver business results through full project cycle
- Highly developed problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment
- Experience in ensuring end user adoption of applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill
- Strong capacity for logical thinking, with the ability to understand the inter-relationships among complex applications and systems.
- Must be a creative problem/puzzle solver with a business development mindset & Out of the box thinking
- Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills required.
- Good judgment and ability to manage problems outside of one’s area of expertise
- Ability to react quickly in an ever-changing environment
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Able to work autonomously
- Fluent Italian and English
