Opto Engineering is looking for an Application Engineer for the Headquarters.

The figure reports hierarchically to the Sales Director and will be coordinated by the Global Tech Support Coordinator.

The resource will be the technical reference point for sales force, providing to the sales team and to the customers, both in pre and post sales, all the technical information related to the products and their applications.

The resource will be also in direct contact with the R&D and Product Management departments to manage technical requests and applications, to share technical information from the market, the customers and the sales and to keep growing in his/her personal technical skills.

The tasks will be:

- Collect and process the technical needs of the customer and the sales and solve the problems promptly

- Perform feasibility studies in lab

- Provide technical training to the sales and to the customers about products and their applications

- Cooperate with the sales force in communications with the customers and negotiation of our applications

- Share customers and market feedbacks with the PMs and the R&D about products and applications

The figure we are looking for is a young candidate with a degree in Engineering or Physics.

Coding Skills in C++, C# or other coding languages are very appreciated.

A minimum C1 level in English is mandatory.

Attention to the details, interpersonal skills, team working and diplomacy complete the profile.

There will be a period of training to acquire the needed technical and products knowledges to fill the role. In this regard, the resource will interact with a network of qualified technical designers, colleagues and partnerships, which will allow to reach a professional growth.
