We are searching for a SEO Frontend Software Engineer to handle search engine optimization for our websites and online business profile. In this role, you will perform regular checks, solve any SEO-related issues relating to coding and site performance, and ensure web pages and website structures are in line with SEO best practices.

To ensure success as an SEO Frontend Software Engineer, you should be a proficient front-end developer with expertise in the latest SEO development tools. A top-notch SEO developer will demonstrate a deep understanding of all kinds of SEO approaches and be able to offer assistance with SEO development and maintenance.

You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring that website design, layout, and coding is optimized for search
• Working with web designers, frontend and backend developers and SEO experts to ensure consistent standards of SEO
• Troubleshooting technical SEO issues for the website
• Researching the latest SEO guidelines and implementing them
• Planning website SEO contingencies for problems that may arise
• Updating team members on SEO standards and changes
• Providing technical support to your team members in the web design process.

Must have tech skills:

• A minimum of 3 years' front-end development and web design experience
• Proficiency with JavaScript (ES6+)
• Strong skills in React
• Unit, Integration and e2e tests (preferably Jest and/or Playwright)
• Knowledge of SSR & SSG framework (preferably Next.js)
• Proficiency in vanilla CSS, responsive design and experience with modern styling approaches such as Styled Components and CSS preprocessors like SASS
• Solid understanding of general SEO principles and the web-design process
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Organized, deadline-driven, and detail-focused.

You are the perfect candidate if:

• Clean coding practices, attention to details and website performance are your fixed thoughts
• LCP, CLS, TTFB, TTI and early hints are your bread and butter
• keeping the DOM with the fewest elements makes you proud, regardless of the framework used
• optimizing the available crawl budget is a puzzle that stimulates you more than quickly solving a rubik's cube
• HTTP Status code, Canonical, robots.txt and redirect-based migrations don't scare you
• You consider Natural Language Processing applied to content and the addition of schema markup in json+ld the best way to communicate with search engines
• You have a certification in SEO of Google Analytics
• You have working experience with back-end programming languages and Node.js.
