Plant General Manager – Romania

Posizione

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Board of Directors is responsible for the results and the operational management of two production units.

Coordinating a first line of reports, mainly supervises the Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Administration and HR functions.

It maintains coordinated and constant relations with the parent company (HQ) in Italy to ensure the necessary synergies and technical contributions.


Main Objectives:

  • To organize, monitor and manage the Company's activities ensuring the regular functioning of business processes: production, procurement, quality, safety and economic result;
  • Contribute with proposals supported by economic and organizational rationale to define a strategic plan for business development and growth: manage all activities related to the budget process related to the Plants according to the guidelines of the HQ;
  • Govern the planning of production activities in line with market needs and financial fixed assets policies, ensuring that warehouses have the volumes strictly necessary to meet customer needs. To this end, he/she will have to coordinate the planning and scheduling activities of production and supplies, in compliance with volumes, times, costs and quality parameters;
  • Ensuring the launch of new products in production in compliance with volumes, times, costs and quality parameters, guaranteeing the coordination of management activities and the control of results in accordance with company strategies;
  • Improve the production and economic efficiency of the Plants by identifying and implementing process improvements with the aim of achieving cost reductions and inefficiencies, through process innovation, the identification of new production methods and models, the redefinition and optimization of cycles and process times in a Lean perspective.
  • Coordinate, manage and support the activities of people management and development, and industrial relations in accordance with the guidelines of the HQ;
  • Ensure compliance with and application of current legislation and regulations on health, safety at work and environmental protection by reporting and intervening promptly in case of anomalies.

Requisiti

Requirements:

The successful Candidate will be ambitious, hard-working and independent. Ideally, he/she has a strong experience in manufacturing Companies, gained abroad (direct experience in Eastern Europe is preferrable). He/She should also have the ability to meet deadlines and handle numerous projects at once.

English proficiency is mandatory.
