We create Software as a Service companies, with B2B targets, combining simple user experiences, advanced data collection and processing capabilities and elements of artificial intelligence.

We’re now on a mission to hire a Software Engineer for our new startup, Veterly.
Veterly is an intelligent communication and telemedicine platform that helps veterinarians to simplify and make their relationships with customers more efficient, and to help a higher number of users to benefit of animal health services.

We are looking for a Software Engineer / Software Developer to be responsible for the technical development of our solution. You will be building and maintaining scalable and reliable architecture and backlog.
Being in a flexible and fast-changing environment, you will play a critical role in taking strategic choices and will feel the impact of these choices right away, having the opportunity to actively participate in the evolution of our technologies and achievement of our mission.

You’ll work closely with Veterly’s CTO and Startup Bakery's operating team. The Technology Department in Startup Bakery will provide support in all product strategy implementations, structures and key decisions making processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Designing and developing scalable APIs
• Contributing to the development of our core algorithms
• Developing and managing databases and applications
• ​Working with data scientists and analysts to improve our software solution

Must have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant fields
• 2+ Years experience as a Backend Software Engineer
• Proficiency with server side languages - we work with Node.js, but we’re also Python/Scala/Java friendly
• Experience with Software Versioning systems (e.g. Git, Svn, etc.)
• Good written and spoken English
• Collaborative and well suited to work in team

Nice to have:

• Master's Degree, PhD, Certifications or similar
• Experience with microservices paradigm (e.g. GraphQL, Rest)
• Experience with big data and AI projects
• Docker and Kubernetes
