The made-in-Italy luxury footwear brand was established in the 1951 and is deeply rooted in the creativity and expertise of its eponymous founder, who viewed shoemaking as a continuous reflection on shape, harmony and elegance. The launch of the sr1 collection, was the first step of a new beginning for the Company, took inspiration from the Sergio Rossi historical archive. It was first presented in Milan for the Spring Summer 2017 Collection, with the focus shifting from evening to daywear. The product is timeless and embodies the elegance, needs and passions of a dynamic, sophisticated woman that doesn’t take herself too seriously.

The company will continue fostering the craftsmanship culture at the facility in San Mauro Pascoli, where 120 craft professionals pass on their expertise through the generations. This creative and cultural distinctiveness has been preserved through the decades and quality materials, craftsmanship, luxury and elegance remain the cornerstones of Sergio Rossi style today.

Sergio Rossi is represented around the world in 80 boutiques and in a selection of prestigious multibrand stores. Today Sergio Rossi has 560 employees, 330 of whom are based in Italy in the Milan Head Quarter, the Factory Plant in San Mauro Pascoli and the directly owned boutiques. Regional offices are established in the USA (New York City), APAC (Hong Kong and Shanghai) and Japan (Tokyo) alongside the Retail direct network in those countries.

Main roles performed in the Company refers to Design, Merchandising, Communication & Marketing, HR, Finance, Logistic, IT and Commercial (Retail, Wholesale, e-comm) areas on top of the Ladies Shoes Production technicians and artisans activities and the direct retail store positions.

Posizione

Reporting to the Retail Manager of USA, the store manager is responsible for the overall management of the store, staff, merchandise, and customer service. He/she will be responsible for achieving net sales objectives, building highly motivated teams, and developing Client Advisors. He/she will be the first brand ambassador, by spreading and believing in Sergio Rossi history and values to his/her team and to our clients. 

Job Responsibilities:
Business Development and Performance Management
• Meet or exceed the Commercial targets set for the store
• Analyze the business, propose and implement action plans to improve results, generate sales for each product category creating new clients and reactivating former ones
• Represent Sergio Rossi Americas as an Ambassador of the brand in the community and in the market place.
• Be aware of the luxury competition and local environment in order to be competitive and suggest business driving initiatives to upper management
• Develop and deliver events and incentives to grow the business
• Work closely with the Retail Manager and the Regional Corporate Office to ensure that appropriate stock and assortment levels are met
• Make recommendations for store renovations, upgrades and expansion
• Continuously motivate sales staff to meet assigned sales and performance-based goals
• Demonstrate sales leadership for staff by playing an active role on the selling floor and leading by example
• Ensure compliance with all Sergio Rossi Policies and Procedures
Client Management 
• Manage customer service quality, to meet client expectations by offering excellent customer service standards based on the Sergio Rossi Selling Ceremony and standards
• Develop loyal Sergio Rossi clients, implement appropriate CRM tools and maintain customer database
• Foster relationships with Stylist and Personal Shoppers and improve community outreach
• Act as brand ambassador to strengthen/build relationships with VIP clientele/prospect clients
Administrative and Operations Management
• Complete all necessary administrative paperwork in a timely manner including creating staff work schedules and ensure appropriate store coverage
• Control daily invoices petty cash and take necessary actions to effectively control costs and ensure efficient operation in store
• Review and submit sales and operational reports to management in adherence to company's KPIs and policies
• Maintain relationships with members of corporate office, regional office, mall office (if applicable), repair facility and other stores
Visual Merchandising
• Maintain outstanding merchandising standards
• Make the best out of the display and proximity storage
• Know the best sellers and have them on display all the time

• Work with corporate office and/or local freelancers to achieve goals of proper window installation and display
Staff Management
• Create a supportive environment to develop and motivate staff through goal setting, performance monitoring, monthly touch base meetings and storewide meetings in order to coach and deliver timely feedback
• Ensure all Top Store initiatives are rolled out, updated and understood by the team
• Recruit store associates with specific qualifications and skills that meet company and specific market standards
• Enforce company policies while adhering to proper procedure regarding disciplinary action
• Identify individual and team training needs. Create and implement regular trainings from the Global training team and any in store related trainings or product knowledge seminars

Requisiti

• 5 years luxury goods retail experience preferred
• Ability to use POS system and its inventory management functions
• Ability to work independently, as well as in collaboration
• Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate sales teams and a strong commitment to customer service
• Organizational and entrepreneurial skills
• Prior experience in visual merchandising is a plus
• Strong computer skills (MS office preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to speak a foreign languages a plus: Mandarin or Spanish preferred
