The launch of the sr1 collection, was the first step of a new beginning for the Company, took inspiration from the Sergio Rossi historical archive. It was first presented in Milan for the Spring Summer 2017 Collection, with the focus shifting from evening to daywear. The product is timeless and embodies the elegance, needs and passions of a dynamic, sophisticated woman that doesn’t take herself too seriously.

The company will continue fostering the craftsmanship culture at the facility in San Mauro Pascoli, where 120 craft professionals pass on their expertise through the generations. Sergio Rossi is represented around the world in 80 boutiques and in a selection of prestigious multibrand stores. Main roles performed in the Company refers to Design, Merchandising, Communication & Marketing, HR, Finance, Logistic, IT and Commercial (Retail, Wholesale, e-comm) areas on top of the Ladies Shoes Production technicians and artisans activities and the direct retail store positions.

Position

To support our SR Retail Academy program and strengthen our Retail Department in Milan, we are looking for an experienced Retail Trainer Europe that will be based in Milan and report directly to the Retail Manager Europe.

General Role

In charge of setting up new Training Retail programs in line with seasonal collections, Brand and business priorities, coordinating with Marketing, Merchandising & HR Department to develop and conduct all trainings linked to the European directly operated stores, including physical and omnichannel digital approach to our clientele. Share key training materials among other Regional trainers.

Main activities

Identifying training needs in line with Retail priorities and Brand strategy, developing appropriate training plans and product/Brand “Story Telling”

Developing and running local trainings in key European stores or on key projects;

Acting as reference for all HQ Retail training programs sharing new SR Retail Academy materials within the other Regions;

Reviewing, preparing and monitoring an annual budget for the training plan;

Making regular reports for management reviews on training effectiveness.

Requirements

Bachelor degree. Master or specialized training regarding training management and coaching is appreciated;

At least 3 years of experience in training in international luxury retail contexts or service oriented companies;

Direct retail selling experience will be a plus;

Outgoing and balanced personality, good emphatic, social and communication skills, ability to work with all relevant Teams and also to work in autonomy in line with SR Company Culture;

Fluency in Italian, English. French is a plus.
