The launch of the sr1 collection, was the first step of a new beginning for the Company, took inspiration from the Sergio Rossi historical archive. It was first presented in Milan for the Spring Summer 2017 Collection, with the focus shifting from evening to daywear. The product is timeless and embodies the elegance, needs and passions of a dynamic, sophisticated woman that doesn’t take herself too seriously.

The company will continue fostering the craftsmanship culture at the facility in San Mauro Pascoli, where 120 craft professionals pass on their expertise through the generations. Main roles performed in the Company refers to Design, Merchandising, Communication & Marketing, HR, Finance, Logistic, IT and Commercial (Retail, Wholesale, e-comm) areas on top of the Ladies Shoes Production technicians and artisans activities and the direct retail store positions.

Position

Reporting directly to the CEO Americas and functionally to the Global Head of PR, the PR Coordinator USA will coordinate all press and editorial activities and executing local PR strategies, product placement on key VIP and influencers, in line with HQ guidelines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the global PR team in Milan, in order to be able to execute the seasonal PR strategy in line with the Headquarters’ guidelines, and with the US retail team to maximize any retail activity on the marketing and PR side.
  • Support in the development and cultivation of strong relationships with US press at all levels, maintaining contacts with editors in chief, fashion directors, editors and associates at major long and short-lead publications, websites and blogs and supporting key VIP stylists and managers with company samples to execute strategic product placement.
  • Establish strong internal relationships with the global PR & Communication team as well as cross functionally with the branding, buying, merchandising and marketing teams respectively to facilitate PR programs execution.
  • Support in the development and execution of press strategies around special events and seasonal collections.
  • Guarantee that Sergio Rossi is represented correctly and consistently across all communication channels.
  • Ensure timely reporting each month on the editorial coverage, sample traffic and strategy updates.


 

 

Requirements

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & MAIN CAPABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 months of experience in luxury retail industry
  • Proficient in all Office programs
  • Strong sense of responsibility and precise and detail oriented
  • Good command of English
  • Travel is required
