The launch of the sr1 collection, was the first step of a new beginning for the Company, took inspiration from the Sergio Rossi historical archive. It was first presented in Milan for the Spring Summer 2017 Collection, with the focus shifting from evening to daywear. Main roles performed in the Company refers to Design, Merchandising, Communication & Marketing, HR, Finance, Logistic, IT and Commercial (Retail, Wholesale, e-comm) areas on top of the Ladies Shoes Production technicians and artisans activities and the direct retail store positions.

Based in Milan, the IT System Administrator will support the IT Manager in supervising all IT systems and infrastructures for Corporate offices and the retail network.

Key responsibilities:

• Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, malware protection software and other processes
• Install, program, test and maintain operating systems, application software and IT tools
• Analyze problems and evaluate and solve technical issues by monitoring the entire IT systems providing a high quality service to all employees
• Coordinate external IT providers
• Provide technical support in the implementation of special IT projects
• Supervise and manage external Datacenter, coordinating activities with different providers
• (Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance)

Requirements:

• A University graduated (IT or Engineering)
• At least 3 years of experience in similar positions
• Experience with or knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, virtualization
• Experience with networks (LAN,WAN)
• Knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues
• Managing server virtualization technologies like VMWare
• FTP configuration

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Oracle database
• Microsoft Azure and Amazon web service skills
• Excellent problem solving attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage different relationships at all level
• Travel may be required
• Fluent in Italian and English
