We are looking for an IT Retail Specialist, who will focus on our enterprise business solutions for Retail environment, both on existing and new projects to be launched in the next few months. Based in San Mauro Pascoli (FC) or Milan, the role will report to the IT Manager ad strongly support our Retail and Digital teams
 

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the business and technical organizations to support design and implementation of the Retail systems solutions. 
• Lead discussions with internal business partners to identify needs and translate business requirements into detail functional specifications and technical solutions. 
• Research and evaluate technologies and commercial solutions to determine right design options and trade-offs. 
• Understand the business priorities and opportunities to contribute driving business growth. 

Technical Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of retail POS processes (sales & returns management, promotions & pricing, loyalty, etc.) and back-office (cash management, opening & closing, TLOG processing). 
• Oracle Retail Xstore POS implementation / development experience 
• Experience in developing and consuming Web Services using WSDL, SOAP and HTTP. 
• Experience working with and designing development concepts using SDLC tools like Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket. 

Requirements : 

• University graduate (IT or Engineering)
• At least 2 years of experience in similar positions
• Excellent analytical skills
•  Ability to propose and evaluate technical solution alternatives, assessing the pros and cons of each approach
• Excellent problem solving attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage different relationships at all level
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Travel may be required
