Position

Opto Engineering Americas is currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager.

The candidate will be in charge of the budget targets in the reference area, client portfolio management and the development of new business opportunities for artificial vision systems.


Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:


  • Identifying new potential accounts and target industries for the company's products and technologies (through sourcing, cold calling, qualifying initial clients, identifying potential users)
  • Supporting and growing existing customers on site/from remote
  • Preparing proposals and negotiating new contracts
  • Qualifying and managing sales leads, ensuring timely follow-ups and full customer satisfaction
  • Participating and visiting customers and tradeshows
  • Entering and managing data through the company's proprietary CRM
  • Ensuring the timely attainment of assigned KPIs

Requirements

Experience & Requirements

· BA/BS Degree preferred

· Minimum two years of sales experience with a growth track record

· Excellent knowledge of English and Spanish languages

· Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and oral)

· Analytical Problem-Solving & Decision Making – able to research, analyze, identify viable options, draw sound conclusions, and make appropriate recommendations

· Result Oriented – Proven ability to set and exceed sales targets, develop new business and manage existing accounts

· Customer Service & Relationship Management – ability to provide a high level of service to customer base/market, building relationships and a referral network within a territory

· Strong work ethic and a team player

· Positive, resilient and able to adapt quickly and easily in an ever-changing environment

· Willing to travel around its area of reference for 30% of time for business trips

· Motivated and energetic

· Fast learner
