Position

Italdesign Giugiaro is looking for a dynamic person, who would be Responsible for Infotainment Development and will be the Project Resident Engineer at a Major Customer in Germany.

 

Responsibilities

  • Supports the development of infotainment component requirements and their documentation in the requirements tool chain
  • Analyzes Requirements, Functional Specifications against the target HW
  • Interfaces with customers on system architecture through workshops and design meetings
  • Generates technical reports and various presentation material to communicate issues, achievements and technical information for project evaluations and information sharing across the organization
  • Coordinates with other design/test departments and suppliers
  • Acts as local customer interface for the project
  • Project scheduling, management, issue tracking
  • Problem item investigation and resolution
  • Plans and directs software and hardware updates to test facilities

Requirements

  • At least 1+ years of experience in Embedded Products, Media Infotainment, Audio VR, Bluetooth, CAN Connectivity, HMI Tuner, Navigation or any other automotive related features
  • 1+ years in Software Development Life Cycle such as Systems engineering, integration and testing in related domains.
  • Knowledge of Change management, Jira and Confluence tools
  • Knowledge of Automotive Architectures and communication protocols (CAN/MOST/ETHERNET)
  • HMI design experience is a plus
  • Ability to manage complex problems and propose solutions
  • Experience in the area of highly integrated systems (embedded systems)
  • System performance analysis and measurement
  • Programming languages: C, C++, Java, python
  • Basic knowledge in Linux / Unix
  • Experience with Audio/Video management (processing, MOST/A2B/DTCP/HDCP protocols)
  • Experience with Software download in Automotive Embedded products
  • Experience in the area test execution –management
  • Sensitive to High-voltage safety / integration impacts in EV vehicles
  • Knowledge of Audi/VW tools is a plus

 

Other information

  • Education: M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication or Computer Engineering
  • Language skills: The ability to communicate clearly and well in German and English language (al least level B2). Knowledge of Italian would be would be appreciated
  • Workplace: Ingolstadt, availability to travel.
