Position

Italdesign is expanding its activities in the field of functional development for SW for Gateway ECUs from the Group.

Within the team of Car Network you will directly work on the Diagnosis System Development for the Gateway ECUs  for different platforms. 

You will be part of an interdisciplinary, networked and agile team. Together with specialists about Car Networking and functional development you will be part of the development process for series products.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage impacts to Gateway SW due to vehicle architecture changes: Data affected, Routing Matrices, Diagnostic Interface, Performances specifications
  • Steer the Gateway ECU supplier for SW upgrades and bug fixes
  • Part numbers management for SW/HW updates
  • Manage deadlines according to the Product Development Process
  • Manage deviations according to customer
  • Manage SW distributions to different users: testing department, other functions developers, other brands
  • Manage impacts of SW changes on other departments/functions
  • Manage test planning, collect reports and analyse test results on HIL/test vehicles/production vehicles
  • Manage ODX changes
  • Manage testing status at Supplier side (Tier 1)
  • Take care of documentation
  • Take part to weekly alignment meetings with the customer

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Automotive (OEM, Tier1, Tier 2) experience preferred
  • Experience on ECU electronics and vehicle networks, on embedded SW, knowledge and experience in the common Bus interfaces (e.g. CAN, FlexRay, MOST, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, LIN etc.)
  • Experience with Diagnostic Protocols UDS (ISO 14229), XCP, DoIP
  • Knowledge of ISO/OSI model and TCP/IP Stack
  • Experience with CanOe, CAPL coding, CanDb++
  • Experience with Candela or similar tool
  • Experience on understanding customer requirements
  • Experience on requirements engineering/management using Doors or a similar Tool
  • Experience on Jira or similar
  • Prior experience in ECU’s SW Validation
  • Experience in developing series functionalities
  • Experience on developing communication matrices
  • Experience with Version management tool

  • Education: Bachelor/Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics
  • Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken English; German would be appreciated
  • Workplace: Moncalieri (TO), Italia and availabitily to travel.
