Italdesign Deutschland is expanding its engineering activities in the field of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Within the international ADAS team you will work on function development of next generation

Parking assistance systems (Optical/Acustical Park-Assist, (Remote-) Intelligent Park-Assist, Garage Pilot) to be integrated in a new domain-based E/E architectur.

Responsibilities

Your responsibility will focus on following topics:

• System specification, logical and technical functional architecture
• Functional requirements to several other related functionalities and ECUs
• Definition of Signal Interfaces to several other related functionalities and ECUs
• Testing of the entire Parking Assistance Functions and several sub-functionalities on HIL and test-vehicles

   

Your activities to be done in detail are:

• Specification and review of functional requirements using tools like DOORS, AVW
• Harmonization with related function-owners and suppliers
• Review, creating baselines and monitoring of modifications
• Specification of Signal Interfaces using tools like PreVision, SBT
• Monitoring of functional test-activities done by different parties
• Analyzing results of tests and measurements
• Execution of functional tests for all Verbund-Releases in test-vehicles
• Documentation and monitoring of results and bugfixes via KPM tool
• Approval recommendations

• Automotive experience (OEM, Tier1, Tier 2) required
• Experience in functional development and ECU integration projects required
• Knowledge of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems appreciated
• Experience on understanding customers’ requirements
• At least two years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in Requirements Management using DOORS
• Handling of Vector CANape and CANalyzer diagnostic tool VAS tester and/or IDEX
• Knowledge in using Failure Tracking Tools KPM
• Knowledge in the common Bus interfaces (e.g. CAN, FlexRay, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, LIN etc.)
• Experience in development process and implementation along ISO26262
• Take on responsibility, work independently being able to share achievements with the team
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Valid driving license at least class B

• Education: Bachelor/Master Degree in Vehicle Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics
• Language skills: The ability to communicate clearly and well in English (at least level B2). Knowledge of German (at least level B1, with willingness to improve). Knowledge of Italian would be would be appreciated
• Workplace: Ingolstadt, availability to travel.
