Within the team of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems you directly work on the implementation of next generation automated driving functionalities. With your contribution customer friendly functional components are created for the next step to autonomous driving.

You’re part of an interdisciplinary, networked and agile team. Together with specialists about perception, functions development, testing and tooling you’ll develop, test and experience the future of mobility from the concept to series product.

Responsibilities

-Leverage a model based approach to architecting, defining, and analyzing complex systems involving a mix of hardware and controls for new ADAS technologies

-Develop core systems engineering work products for systems development including: architecture analysis, use cases, strategy, descriptive and analytical models, requirements, interface matrices, and robustness & verification work products

-Develop analysis-backed behavioral requirements on subsystems, including interface definition and cascade of requirements to delivering systems (e.g. engine, transmission, brakes, battery, Infotainment, body modules, off-board systems, etc.)

-Develop physically and empirically based models & simulations and use them to conduct design options and trade-studies to verify that proposed concepts and strategies meet the requirements

-Support the quality and functional safety processes following ISO26262

-Perform design verification tests on prototype vehicles or constituent systems, analyze results, provide recommendations and drive to implementation

-Develop new or improve upon, model based system engineering related processes to further our engineering efficiencies

-You coordinate the requirements of the customer function related to the system components together with the component responsibility (e.g. sensors, actuators, control units, etc.)
