Position

To enhance its team, Artemest is seeking a passionate and experienced Trade Sales Executive to drive substantial revenue growth in North America amongst the Architectural and Interior Design communities.

In this position the Trade Sales Executive will be responsible for prospecting, contacting and visiting targeted A&D firms and Key Accounts, while generating maximum brand awareness and revenues for the company.

The position, which is primarily an outside sales role, is based in NYC.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Research and attend key industry events to network with the design community in NYC
  • Assist the Head of Trade with North America trade events strategy and calendar
  • Proactively research and acquire new members for Artemest Trade program through daily outreach to A&D community and Key Accounts in different market segments (Residential, Hospitality, Luxury Retail)
  • Develop strong relationships with key industry figures whilst maintaining and building existing relationships
  • Generate significant sales growth whilst guaranteeing exceptional levels of customer experience, assisted by Head Office Customer Service and project management teams
  • Give face-to-face and telephone tutorials as well as lunch & learns to the design community on Artemest unique product assortment, customization opportunities, trade benefits and online features
  • Convert and reengage existing non transactional trade members with assistance of data analyst
  • Update and enrich the CRM database with new leads, project information, meeting reports and client contact database

Requirements

Who are we looking for?

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a sales position within design / luxury manufacturer, retailer or e-commerce / online marketplace
  • Good knowledge of the interior design industry
  • Existing relationships within the top A&D firms in NYC
  • Strong track record of business development and sales growth
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly with the design community
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and enthusiasm in interacting with people
  • Highly organized with the ability to plan and prioritize
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a proactive approach to achieving ambitious goals
  • Aesthetical sensibility and passion for e-commerce and luxury products
